Every business needs a value proposition.

A value proposition is what your company offers its consumers. Don’t think about it in terms of the physical product or service, but the value that it brings to their lives. This can be a job your product accomplishes.

Nobody cares if you make a hammer with a bluetooth feature and a wrench attached to it. Yeah it’s kind of cool, but I bought the hammer to hang a picture.

The same applies in the business-to-business (B2B) market. As a fresh entrepreneur, I’m learning what it means to be a business owner. My business is “business 2 consumer” (B2C), but I use plenty of freelancers, vendors, etc; who solely sell to other businesses. This has given me a pretty strong opinion on how companies/organizations conduct business with other entities. My takeaway?

I will pay a premium for peace of mind.

Simple and easy communication: From communicating product and service offerings to routine follow-ups and communication. At its core, this is business done with a clear mind and level head.

Timely: Business owners stress about time more than anybody. If you can take some of that away; they will value you.

Consistency: This one is by far the most annoying because it’s never inconsistent in just one area. Inconsistent quality, pricing, timeliness kills businesses of all kinds

If you can deliver a product that gets the job done, and do it in a manner that accomplishes all three of these checkpoints…call me!
