The Obvious:
The Rams are all in. They traded for Stafford; they traded for Von; and now, they’ve acquired Odell. If that’s not the definition of “all in”, I don’t know what is.
Matt Stafford has no excuses. He has the weapons, the defense, and the coaching. There’s nowhere else to point the finger.
The Unknown
Is Odell truly the problem?
The Browns won their first game without Beckham convincingly, and you know Odell Beckham haters loved the narrative that created. While blame for the unsuccessful Beckham-Mayfield relationship can be given to each, both have major questions about the value they bring to their teams.
Focusing on Odell, he’s once again on a talented team with a new QB, who many would consider a step above Baker. If he’s not a positive force in this situation…our Odell questions will be answered.
Is Odell the #2 Wr behind Cooper Kupp?
Where does Odell fit in the Wr hierarchy on the Rams roster? Kupp and Robert Woods are two very established players on that roster. Kupp specifically has been the best Wr in the league this year.
Will Beckham’s bratty side resurface if he isn’t getting the targets he feels he deserves? This move to Los Angeles feels like the final act in a wonderfully dramatic saga. Odell Beckham Jr. and Baker Mayfield have played their roles to a tee, and we finally are beginning to see the truth unfold.
